    I read the specs on this switch and it said it was
    GOLD PLATED
    inside. I cut one open and sure enough,
    GOLD PLATED
    . There are tiny springs and very tiny ball bearings.  There were 4
    GOLD PLATED
    ball bearings, but I lost one, so only 3 are in the pictures. Other parts are also plated in
    GOLD
    .
